Analyzing this:
- no complains means nobody is affected, therefore the restriction was a good thing since nobody complained about it;
- it could also mean that the ones who wanted to complain don't speak English, meaning they have nothing to do here, since the sites primary language is English and the rules are written in English, too;
- and, finally, the last and most credible, it means they're all scammers and they decided just to open another account and try again and again to access our blocked services.
Is not our fault that all the African visitors are scammers... or more delicate speaking, that only the scammers have access to the internet in Africa. The African IPSs should do something to track their scammers and send them to the police; and, of course, the police should do something, too. But, for a few years now, nothing seems to have changed.
Every week 2-3 new Africans are registering our site, uploading the same Windows wallpapers in their profile photo, though it writes there ONLY pictures of themselves are accepted. Of course, we don't know our members personally, so basically any human picture is accepted, unless is a huge celebrity we know about. But not animals, avatars, smilies, landscapes etc.
And the same story repeats, consuming the time and the energy of our webmasters, who, instead of improving the site's services and installing new features for the good people here, they start to track suspected spam messages and analyze members.
For the name of God, all the scam messages are the same and they all end in: "remember that distance and color doesn't matter, only love does ..."
Also, many, if not all scammers, are writing they're in UK or USA, while they see, probably, their IP is made public and anyone can click on it to see big written AfriNIC on their IP page. And this is also annoying, because, WTF: you see you can't hide, you can't lie here, but you still do it. Why?!? Are you, the scammers, idiots or you think all the other members are stupid? Any of those reasons is good to restrict those IPs, so really doesn't matter the answer.
Found this on another site:
Love and spammers
Love and spammers
They go together
But of course they're scammers
This I tell you, brother
You can't have one without another
Love and spammers, love and spammers
It's even better when you've got Web cam'ras
Pass your checkbook gently,
The loss'll show it's rudiment'ry
Love and spammers, love and spammers
Go together but of course they're scammers
Dad was killed in Ghana,
You must move funds into Bots-wana.
I hope you'll like it.

I recommend this site if you want to learn more about the African scammers, how they work, how to avoid them or... the funny part... how to make fun or even scam them back.
They are not so smart.
Updated: All the African IPs will be banned from now on; apparently our IP list is not complete and some are still able to register, but we'll ban the African scammers just after they'll register, anyway. So mind that they won't be able to access our site, sooner or later after the registration.
