Another interesting and very useful feature has been implemented into our free dating site. This is the automatic translation of incoming messages and profile descriptions.
This is very useful, especially for descriptions, because, though we keep advising our users to use the English language in their description so everyone (read: possible dates) can understand, they still write in their own native language, making difficult for people who are interested in them to understand what they're looking for.
So, to help those stubborn :) or lazy members of our dating community, we've implemented this script that can translate the description in any language (well, almost any) from any language (You guessed, almost any language).
The translation is powered by all mighty Google with its Goog;e Translate service, we have nothing to do with it. Therefore, just to make sure everybody understands, there's no human translator - meaning sometimes is not accurate. However, is better then nothing and for the short sentences will do its job.
To translate just choose the language you understand from the drop-down menu (you'll see it) and a new text, the translation, will appear, on the same page. Read it, understand it, and, again, if it doesn't make sense to you, is Google's fault, not ours :)
