Dating Cafe is Scammers Free
We don't like scammers
Nobody does, of course. What's a scammer if not a thief? And to register yourself on a dating site and pretend you're somebody else just to foul someone to send you money or who knows what, that's pretty low.
That's why we have the report system on the forum. Of course, you might just send us a feedback using the link at the bottom of the page (must be registered). But if you use the forum to report someone, then you're also helping other people, too. You can and you should write how the scammer tried to foul you, who she/he pretended to be, what was the excuse to drag you away from our site etc. Any of this information will help our members to recognize the eventual scammer.
We don't have scammers
We don't have scammers yet. At lest we hope we don't since there's not much activity on the The List of Scammers forum. Every time someone is reporting another user on the The List of Scammers forum we're investigating this issue and ban the user. Not only that we delete his/hers account, but we also ban the IP used to register that account. And trust us, you can't use proxies to register on our site.
So what can scammers do? Of course, they can use another IP to register another profile, but eventually this one will be banned, too (if they try to scam people again). They'll just give up, in the end, and choose an easier target.
Every dating site has scammers
Unfortunately, that's true. Don't think that the scammers can't afford to register on a paid dating site - of course they can, after all they probably just fouled someone to send them some money. And not only dating sites, if that matters. Scammers are everywhere. But, like I've said in the beginning, the dating site scammer is the lowest criter on earth, in my dating site administrator's opinion.
Those rotten people have no conscience and they'll easily take advantage of your naivety and play with your feelings. They lie to you with every word. This is what they do for leaving, remember that. That's why is important to report not any scammer, but any possible scammer you encounter. If you're not right and the suspected person is not a scammer, that's all right. He/she will have the chance to defend by leaving a reply on the forum. Besides, we'll investigate the report before we'll ban the accused person.
So, don't worry if you think you're doing wrong when writing a report - you're not. You're just helping us keep the site like it is, clean, and we really appreciate your contribution.
Remember
- every time you suspect someone of being a scammer, make a report here
- after that send him/her a PM to announce what you did
- until further information from our part (forum reply), stop any contact with the (possible) scammer
We hope, with your help, to keep the site clean as it is now.
